It's already been an eventful day and we're just sitting at the gate! We had a lightening strike a couple of evenings ago and my garage-door opener took the hit. The repair magician was due between eight and twelve; but I had to leave at twelve and I was pretty nervous. At twenty of eight I got a phone call that Dan was going to be at my house in twenty minutes and, sure enough, I got a call from the gate at eight o'clock! He said it would take about an hour and by nine o'clock he was gone! And the luck has continued! I was early to pick up Marilyn and we were early to Roddy and Betsy's and Betsy got finished early with her tax consultations! And when we got to the counter the charming young man added my TSA-Pre-check and we sailed through security. Life is good! Now if there just isn't any lightening while we're trying to take off, all will be well!!

Safe in Atlanta! We got biscotti and water on our little flight! The plane train whisked us to our terminal and we're at the gate with a few minutes to spare!! Getting geared up for our 15 hour and 15 minute flight to Johannesburg, South Africa!
Glad to see the ceiling above the flamingo is finished. The Atlanta airport has such interesting artwork.
